"It was a very intense and formative experience. I got to Portugal very scared, I would say. It was my first time outside my country and first time I travelled by myself. I woke up the next day wanting to run away -- hahaha -- but after mass I relaxed and noticed that I was far from my country, but not from Home. Jesus was there, in the Blessed Sacrament, and in all of the churches all the time. I met so many good people and made so many good friends. And even got the opportunity to be in the places of the apparitions in Fátima. That was an honor.
I feel like after this experience I did not become only a better Christian, better Catholic, but a better man and a person who wants to grow more and more in virtue and in love for others everyday." -Nicholas |
